I have a feeling my bill is going to be in committee for a while. I hope they pass my bill on. I am working on emailing the bills sponsor to find out more information about the bill and how she thinks the bill is doing right now.
Good that you are trying to contact the sponsor. Since she is from Illinois, that may pose some problems. As I think we discussed in class, see if there are other people on the committee from where the bill was introduced whom you can contact. Also, speak with the Congressman from your district to see if he can help you. You can get his information from US House of Representatives website.
